I purchased my ticket on the bus for €25. The ticket allows you to switch between routes 1 and 2 which is great. But that’s the extent of the pros of this tour. Guests weren’t provided a route map of where the stops are to properly orient yourself in the city. But you are give an outdated list of the stops that isn’t very helpful. And yes this is a pre-recorded narration, but the recordings do not align with the list of stops provided to you. The recording actually mentions stop numbers that aren’t even on the bus route which can make it confusing. Some stops don’t even have a narration, so you just listen to music. The bus I was on this afternoon didn’t even have a/c and it was a record high today. I wouldn’t recommend.

The worst tour ever!!! This was a one hour bus tour with recorded commentary out of synchronization with location of the described site. Hop-on-hop -off scenario at only a few of the stops. Site of re-embarkation not marked …so you have no idea where to re-board!! I got these tickets through Viator… purchased on line a week before USA departure. The purchase was documented by Viator….but the tickets never returned to my email. i had to repay tickets thinking that Viator would reimburse me for their mess. I called them and they told me that they would send. those tickets never came. I immediately repaid because of cranky child whom I wanted to get on bus. Terrible on both accounts. never will use either again.

We enjoyed the bus but some drivers need to explain in English which stop by number where we were. Some of the stops weren’t signed for us to see to get back on the bus

Lignes 1 and 2 cover all of Madrid and the two day ticket is à good bonus. The Barnabéu stadium is under big rénovation and the visit not worth it.

We love a hop-on hop-off bus and take them in most of the cities we visit. It is a great way to take in all the city has to offer and then decide what and where you wish to further explore.

Wonderful experience that allowed participants to get off and explore areas of interest and green get back on the bus. I had the two day pass and used it to get around the city

It’s perfect when you don’t have lots of time. We can see all the main attractions from the bus. I just wish people don’t leave their garbage in the bus.

This is one of the best and quick ways to get the “flavor” of the city. It usually goes to the most significative places in Madrid and the plus is that you get a complimentary explanation of what you are looking. Unfortunately at this time there were “very long” periods of silence, just music and no speech nor explanation. It was sad as surely there is much more to comment about Madrid and it’s history. Anyway it is a must, so do not forget to include in your plans!
