We enjoyed a nice walk around the area and tried a lot of variety of good food. Carlos is a local who spoke English very well and was very engaging and made sure people were comfortable and socializing.

Do not miss this tour. Second time taking this tour. 1st time was in 2019. Just as good and maybe even better than the 1st time. Carlos was our guide. He was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the wine and food. All the drink and food selections were spot on. The group was a perfect size which allowed for great conversations. We left full and happy. Met some great people and actually went out for a drink with the group afterwards.

This tour was worth every cent. A tremendous sampling of so many great wines from regions all around Spain. The 4 restaurants visited were lively and full of amazing food with rich history. Our group was incredibly fun and I could not be more thankful that we did this tour on our first day in Madrid!

Naomi was a wonderful guide. A huge selection of tapas and wine on offer and a great group of travellers to spend 4 hours with.

Such a fun afternoon - sampling great food and wines. We visited 4 different restaurants hand picked by our guide. Highly recommend to see the city and experience places you’d probably never notice.

We came to Madrid for a “more mature” stag do, so was looking for activities that would fit the bill and came across this, everyone in the group was quite excited and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The tour guide “Carlos” was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient, which really added to the experience. The places he took us were amazing, with great atmosphere, food and of course wine! I would highly recommend this for groups or even couples, I will be bringing my wife to Madrid and will definitely book the same tour.

We loved exploring the literary neighborhood of Madrid with Carlos and our group! It was a wonderfully diverse assembly of tourists from all over; of course, after the first stop and glass of wine, everyone enjoyed chatting and trading stories. Our guide, Carlos, did a wonderful job of keeping things moving, contextualizing the different stops, and explaining the beverage/tapas selections. Some highlight foods include ox tail croquette, garlic sautéed prawns, and honey egg plant. For drinks, we got our choice of beer, wine, or non alcoholic at each stop. We also had a surprise “cidre” tasting at one stop in addition to our selection. By the end, everyone felt satisfied with this experience as a dinner. I recommend it for especially for travelers who want to be social (we had several solo travelers in our group) or for folks who just want to try a lot of things.

Excellent food and wine. Fun facts and our tapasguide Eva was very helpful and nice. I loved it! The marinated dogfish and the sizzling garlic shrimps were especially good!

  • 17-Jul-2023

The guide was very friendly and knowledgable and even gave us a good tip for a bar to go to after the tour. The food at each of the four locations was great especially at the final venue. There was much walking or general history of Madrid, this is definitely a foody tour and not a walking tour.
