Though Pokhara has a sub-tropical climate, still the temperatures are moderate here because of the altitude of the city. The area around Pokhara receives a large amount of rainfall, in fact the highest in Nepal. The summers are usually humid and mild while the winters are clear and sunny.
- Winter: Lasting from December to February, the winters are very cold and snowfall is a possibility.
