The famous people wax figures was ok. It's The chamber of horrors left me asking myself what the hell I had just seen? No warning given and little kids were allowed through. Really poor form.

The horror section really reminds you of how harsh punishment was back in the olden days. If you are a bit squeamish, skip it. It was interesting for the kids to see a wax museum as there aren’t many left in the world. Gave us the opportunity as a family to discuss the world figures displayed there.

A small place, not what I expected I was told the wax statues have been collected from around the world. They are not like Madame Tussaud’s but her wax figure was there 😊 The chamber of horrors is Horrific 🫣 Finding parking spot was an issue, not sure if the place has one (forgot to ask)

Had a fantastic time at the Wax Museum today. The figures are behind glass (this was explained to us very nicely by the lovely lady at the front desk) this makes it hard to get a good photo. But photos aren’t necessary. We came for the history lesson. The downstairs area is a guided medieval torture weapon display. Our guide was very informed and enthusiastic. Very happy to rate 5 stars 👍🏻

Educational. The lady and the gentleman running it were lovely. I wouldve said excellent if I couldve understod their accent. Other than this, I totally enjoyed it
-
Had a great guided tour of the wax museum Horror display spine tingling. Then time to have a look at the other displays. The tour guide was great he new his stuff on all displays. Well worth a visit while at the Gold Coast

My son and I really enjoyed our trip to the Wax Museum. Some of the figures upstairs are not quite realistic but the guided tour downstairs in the chamber of horrors makes up for it. The guide who took us for a tour was knowledgeable and made it an interesting historical journey through the ages, relating to the ways people used to be tortured. It is graphic, certainly but accurate and morbidly fascinating. I recommend a visit!
-
The guided tour itself is worth the cost of admission, very informative for history buffs or just the curious. Our guide seemed truly passionate on the subject which kept the tour very engaging. The figures upstairs were interesting, some of the figures seemed more life like than others, the recent Late Bob Hawke's likeness was fantastic.

The chamber of horrors is definitely not for children. It’s very graphic and the tour guide adds many more horrific details. I was initially reluctant to take my children, but was persuaded to do so by the ticket salesman, and I regretted it. We left the tour early. The upstairs display is great!

If you have been to Madam Toussards in London you will find this disappointing. It does not compare when it come to celebrities and likeness of models. If you have never been to a wax museum you will enjoy it.
