This is an ideal attraction for families with kids and for those interested in space and astronomy. The planetarium has a spaceship shaped museum called the Universe Museum that has 60 interactive displays. The other attractions include the Praca dos Telescopios (telescopes' square) that allows visitors to view the sky, and two state of the art domes that project the stars and planets over 40-minute sessions. Visitors can also view the night sky on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays on clear nights.
