The tour guides were all knowledgeable and very witty. The timing of bus arrival is also commendable

Easy off and on at stops desired. Able to purchase tickets for Casa Loma for a slight discount from tour bus.

Traffic in Toronto was terrible. Thank goodness we were on a bus instead of a car. The first guide was unintelligible. The second guide was very good. The third guide could not be heard on the ground floor of the bus. There was always room on the bus since they were double deckers. However, you cannot hear the guide on the ground floor, since they spoke on the upper deck.

Honestly, I was super skeptical about this tour. I have never been to Toronto and only had one day there. This bus provided an opportunity to see LOTS in a short time with people who have limited mobility--its DEFINITELY not handicap accessible, but a good option for those who cannot walk all day. The in person guides were really great, but some of the busses do not have an in person guide, I do not think the experience is worthwhile without a guide. Also, it felt like many of the reccomendations are based on places they can get a cut of the sales, but the bus took us to many interesting places throughout the city and then we made our own decisions what to do. Tldr: if you only have a short time in the city, the hop on hop off tour may be a good option to see a lot in a little time with minimal planning. To us, it was worth it, but if I had more time in the city I would skip it and just explore on my own.

Great way to view the city and learn about its history all from the comfort of the bus! The first half of the tour, our guide was Alex. Young, chatty very friendly with an animated chat that even included his mum BUT the bus was OLD. Broken window screen upstairs was worrying as you do hit trees although not at speed fortunately as it might have gone. No head phones either. This bus needs retiring. Second guide was Craig on a much improved new bus with a good headphone system too. Again young and chatty he didn’t have the same commentary, as some of the route we did twice!. All told a good route with interesting information and excellent views of the city and it’s harder to reach parts. We were told the whole route would take 2 hours start to finish but as this is a city, the traffic got progressively worse as the day wore on, and it began to take us longer to get to stops . Start early if you don’t want to be sat in traffic down town.

The microphone the operator was using was poor. It hummed and garbled his words. There was no option to use earphones. The operator was shouting into the mike so I suggested he talk normally and a bit more slowly. That helped. The bus spends almost NO time near target points unless someone is getting on or off. The stop at China Town is a joke (some back street with construction.) The stop at Casa Loma shows the castle from a distance of 2 km, if you happen to look to the left and catch the sky view. And this cost me $197 for three seniors (no discount, why not?). Sorry - poor value for the money spent.

I really like this tour. The best part is you get 24 hours to explore and learn about the city of Toronto. Perfect for a solo traveler. I would not recommend buying the CN tower tour from them. They did not tell me the times were limited. When I got to the Tower the employees told me I could not come in, because the CN tower was sold out. A manager was able to let me in because I was a solo traveler and he felt sorry for me.

The hop on / hop off bus is a great way to get your bearings around Toronto whilst gaining great knowledge along the route. The tour guides are great and provide useful information. We stopped at Casa Loma and were even able to purchase discounted entry tickets from the bus (which saved the large queue at the entrance). The buses run the route constantly so we were very lucky in not having to wait long. The route covers all the main areas you would want to get to, definitely helped us make the most of our time in Toronto.

Not our best idea in Toronto. We travel a lot and use Hop on Hop Off Busses if we can. In Toronto with our grandkids, we could have used transit and had the same if not easier experience. The live guide on one bus really needs a history lesson and on another bus we could hear nothing because the earbuds didn't work. Hot, slow, noisy and uncomfortable.

We got to see the city, but could not understand the guide. The technology was poor. Too much static. Accent was also thick.
